Welcome to the Swing Fever Dance Band!

Swing Fever Dance Band is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to perform and encourage the enjoyment of big band music. Swinging since 1983, this 19-piece big band, complete with vocalists and an emcee, has been recreating the big band sound of the 1930’s and 1940’s and performing music selections that span over five decades. Swing Fever Dance Band offers quality music with an authentic big band sound.

For over 25 years, Swing Fever Dance Band has been entertaining east coast audiences at corporate functions, WWII reenactments, community centers, festivals, military reunions, private parties, wedding receptions, NYE parties and other events. Each Fall the band hosts a dance at the Historic Sunnybrook Ballroom located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Swing Fever‘s focus is on playing music that’s not only entertaining, but gets their audience dancing making them a band the audience is sure to love. Swing Fever Dance Band has performed all over the Eastern United States, on cruise ships and on European tours. If swing is your thing, contact the band to arrange a booking. Stage Door Canteen Show

Swing Fever Dance Band has become well known for its Stage Door Canteen Show; a tribute to the music that helped boost the morale of America’s fighting men. Dressed in WWII Army-Air Corp uniforms, the band performs traditional big band arrangements in the style of Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Les Brown, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington and others.

    Swing Fever Dance Band has provided WWII themed music aboard the WWII Liberty ship, John W. Brown during the Living History Cruises, for Veteran’s eventsand for the Army Heritage Days at the National Civil War Museum in Pennsylvania. And for over twenty years, the band has performed at the annual
     Mid-Atlantic Air Museum’s WWII Commemorative Weekend in Reading, Pennsylvania for the Saturday evening hangar dance each June.
